What is Peopletail Rewards?
Peopletail rewards is a Shopify app that makes it easy for everyone to become an affiliate, and for these affiliates to sell your products and earn rewards (money). You have full control to set the earning opportunities for affiliates who can participate accordingly.
What makes Peopletail Rewards different from other affiliate programs?
We believe Peopletail Rewards is the easiest way for affiliates to participate in programs because it offers a mobile first experience that’s very easy and intuitive to use.
Do I need to use Shopify in order to use Peopletail Rewards?
Yes, Peopletail Rewards is currently built for Shopify Retailers only.
How much does Peopletail Rewards cost?
Peopletail Rewards is free to install, and you are charged usage based fees of the reward, plus 30% of the reward value. For example, if you sell a t-shirt for $30 and you offer a 20% reward to affiliates, you will pay the reward 20% x $30 =$6, plus 30% service of the reward value $6 x 30%= $1.80. Total $7.80.
How do I pay out the Peopletail Rewards?
You are charged through Shopify as part of your monthly billing cycle.
How do I invite affiliates to join my program?
We provide a boilerplate copy and a “done-for-you” marketing page inside the Peopletail Rewards app “Settings” section.
If a customer returns a product, do I still payout the affiliate rewards?
The short answer is no. Shopify will charge your affiliate rewards at the end of every month. You have up to two weeks to notify us if any returns took place. We pay out the affiliate rewards on the 15th of the following month.
What is Peopletail Rewards?
Peopletail rewards is a free IOS and Android app that allows you to view promotions available from retailers that you can earn rewards (money) by helping them sell products.
How do I get recognized for making a sale?
In the app you are provided with unique affiliate links that are specific to you. So once you've made a sale, the app recognizes you and your sales.
Are there any fees for using Peopletail Rewards?
Peopletail Rewards is free to use for affiliates. If you earn rewards there is a 10% service fee with each payout.
How can I make money with Peopletail Rewards?
You simply share your affiliate links in the Shopify app with your friends and followers and each time they click on these links and purchase something from a retailer, you earn rewards.
How do I get paid my affiliate rewards?
You will need to have an active PayPal account and PayPal email associated. If you don’t have a PayPal account you can sign up for free by clicking this link.
When do I get paid my affiliate rewards?
Rewards are paid out on the 15th of the following month.
What if someone who used my link returns the product with the Shopify Retailer?
In this instance, you will not receive affiliate rewards for the sale.
Where can I learn more about a retailer's shipping and return policy?
We recommend you view the retailers webpage to learn more about their policies in cases where someone who has purchased through your link, might ask you.
How do I earn stars?
Each time you generate an affiliate link, and you share it with your friends or followers and it’s received “clicks” you earn one star. Each time your affiliate link generates a sale, you earn ten stars.
What are the values of the stars?
Stars are used as part of your ranking in the Peopletail Rewards Community.
What is the content community?
It’s for members of Peopletail that want to participate in creating content ie: photos and videos for brands and retailers we work with.
What are the benefits of joining the content community?
Each month we offer free products as part of campaigns that you can try in exchange for publishing photos and videos into the Peopletail platform. With certain campaigns, users may receive paid incentives to cover costs of producing content such as recipe creations and props needed. Incentives are paid out the following month usually on the 15th or 30th.
Do I own the photos and videos after I’ve submitted them?
The answer is yes, but by submitting them to Peopletail you provide us and the client commercial rights to use the assets in any way we see fit.
Do I have to commit to producing both videos and photos?
Each campaign will provide guidelines as to what is required and you may decide to participate on a case-by-case basis.
How do I get selected to participate in campaigns?
For each campaign we try to open opportunities for new people to get involved, and we will continue to do so. If your content is good you will be given preferred stat denoted as Supernovas.
How do I participate in campaigns?
Although preference is given to experienced content producers (Supernovas), you may provide a sample of your work through our Audition Campaign where we can see your capabilities. All we ask is that you review any product that you have at home.
How do I see what campaigns are offered?

Do I get compensated for my content?
The only compensation you will receive is any incentives that might be offered and the free product. If you want to earn money, we suggest you check out our Peopletail Rewards App available for iOS and Android. In some cases brands request paid custom content and we share these opportunities with members that we feel are the best fit.
What if I don’t like a product I’ve received?
All we ask is that you leave an honest review by highlighting the good and bad points that may help brands in the future.
How do I order products?
For each campaign we provide an online portal to order with a promo-code that you will find on in the private facebook group. Depending on where you live, it may take up to a week to receive after you ordered it.
What is a Leaderboard and how do I earn stars?
Each time you submit content to our system you earn stars. If you submit content with a photo you earn 4 stars. If you submit content with a video, you earn 11 stars. The Leaderboard helps brands and retailers with our campaigns and paid custom opportunities.
Are there any other ways to earn stars?
Yes, if you refer new users to Peopletail through your referral link you earn 3 stars for each new person that joins our community.
